OK! I’ve edited and added photos to the How to Grow Milkweed Page and the Milkweed Bug and Beetle page. I could, and probably will, add more photos later. I certainly have enough! But this will do for now and tomorrow I’m moving on.
Tomorrow I will finish up the Growing Milkweed page. Am also beginning to realize that I will need an entirely separate section for bugs, in addition to the butterflies.
Today I added a lot of text to the How to Grow Milkweed page. Tomorrow I’ll finish it off with some troubleshooting tips and pretty pictures.
Added the herb pot experiment to the experiment section under Growing Flora and Fauna.
Today I added the Experiments link to the Growing Flora and Fauna page. I put up info on the Leaving the Leaves experiment. Tomorrow, the herb pot experiment! Stay tuned.
Today on the Happy Yard page I added info about and links to the Natural Habitat Evanston page. They just announced that they will have yard signs available explaining the presence of leaf litter in a yard and encouraging others to pledge to support wildlife by letting leaves lie.
I feel like a kid in school who shows his hall pass to the hall monitors. I am SUPPOSED to have leaf litter in my yard. I have a note that says so!
Cleaned up the side panel on the Happy Yard page to make it more user friendly, and to leave room for other topics. If you saw the before version I am 100% certain you will agree this is an improvement!
As I sat down to start entering content I’ve accumulated on yard stuff (I’m taking a recipe posting break) I realized that – wow – that’s a lotta stuff. So today I created a new menu item called Growing Flora and Fauna and consolidated the Growing Butterflies and Growing Plants menu items there. Hope to have it all up and going tomorrow!
Today I pulled my email address from the website and installed a contact form instead. To find out why, check out the About Daisy page.
